Photos by Olaf Schmidt, an Australian photographer who I met during my 9 month trip through Australia and New Zealand in 1998. We travelled together for several weeks, and he became a dear friend. Unfortunately I have lost all contact after I moved to the U.S. These photos of his work that he sent me a couple of years after my trip are all I have left of him.
